DESIGN CHARACTERISTICS

Nutek's Over-Pressurization Valves (used in aircraft tires) replace ordinary air stem charging valves. These valves prevent the possibility of pressurizing an aircraft tire or wheel beyond its safe limits.

A computer program is used to define the shape of the poppet and exit flow holes. Inside areas are accurately proportioned to give low-pressure drop at full flow and yet maintain close cracking and reseat characteristics. These valves offer excellent sealing capability at both low and high pressures. All Over-Pressurization Valves are manufactured, assembled, tested and inspected to aerospace quality standards.
