DESIGN CHARACTERISTICS

Nutek's Pneumatic Check Valves provide excellent free flow characteristics and fast, tight closure at low back pressures. Designed specifically for pneumatic applications, these products are available in tube sizes and fitting styles to meet the widest variety of general and special purpose applications.

Nutek engineers have developed a unique spring-loaded poppet design employing advanced polymers. These poppets provide characteristics difficult to achieve in any other way. The inherent elasticity of advanced polymers allows for a self-seating poppet closure even at very slight back pressures. The toughness, resiliency and durability of these polymers provide for long product life under extreme shock and rapid high-pressure reversals.

Large, smoothly contoured free flow passages in the poppets as well as low spring pressure reduce the free flow pressure drop to values equal to or even below that for an equivalent length of straight tubing. All Pneumatic Check Valves are manufactured, assembled, tested and inspected to aerospace quality standards.
