DESIGN CHARACTERISTICS

Nutek's Hydraulic Pressure Regulators are engineered to control the velocity of the exit fluid. Accurately aligned bores, poppets and seats insure reliable operational characteristics. These characteristics include minimum leakage below cracking and reseat pressures, and positive checking in the reverse flow direction.

A computer program is used to define the shape of the poppet and exit flow holes. Inside areas are accurately proportioned to give low-pressure drop at full flow and yet maintain close cracking and reseat characteristics. Housings are precision machined from high strength aluminum alloy bar stock, and poppets and springs are stainless steel. All Pressure Regulators are manufactured, assembled, tested and inspected to aerospace quality standards.
